| As I write the April meeting has just passed and we were all pleased to see John Wilson attending the section meetings again and how well he was looking and we continue to wish him a full and complete recovery. John wishes to thank all his friends at the section for their best wishes and support through his illness. | ||

We were also able to welcome a new face, Peter Elliot who has a G12 which he would like to get into running order but will require a major degree of engineering intervention. We were also pleased to see Liz and Steve Glover who as it was a holiday were able to attend even if it was on a modern Triumph!

| With fifteen members attending we had one of our
larger meetings and it’s tricky to follow all the discussions going all
around. So here goes with some snippets I can recollect.
Accommodation for the camping weekend is still proving to be difficult
to find and we agreed to widen our search to other areas and possibly
based on a campsite which close to either a B&B or Hotel. Travel
strategies and detailed arrangements for the international were rehashed
again. Progress with our projects and how our regular mounts are
behaving were all part of the rich tapestry of the conversation flow.

| By the time this is being read we will have celebrated Eddie Pennycook’s 80th birthday with a surprise run round the back roads of Fife. More on this later. | ||

Last minute news – the September weekend will be at Roy Bridge.
